Assigning an Authorized Person to Receive the requested PSA certificate
After going through the standard ordering and payment process, the applicant receives a secure link through their email where they can assign an Authorized Person to receive their order.
Here are the complete information about the Authorized Person to Receive feature:
- The enhanced Authorized Person to Receive (APR) feature can be initiated through the following methods:

APR Email - A link to assign an APR is sent to customers via email after payment confirmation.

APR Offer Post-Payment - After completing an online or real-time payment, a button will appear on the confirmation page, allowing you to assign an APR even if you did not select one initially.

Access the Customer Service Portal through PSAHelpline website - You can assign an APR directly from the customer service portal. If an APR has already been assigned and you need to change it, simply click the "REASSIGN" button
- After a failed delivery attempt, you can still assign an Authorized Person to Receive (APR) for your application, unless the document has been marked as "Return to Sender."
- If you did not pre-assign an Authorized Person to Receive and the PSA delivery failed because you were not present, you can still assign an authorized person through the customer service portal. This feature is available only for the following delivery statuses:
- Consignee Not In
- House/Business Closed
- Consignee Not Available
- Temporarily Could Not Reach Destination
- Refused Entry
- Consignee in the Province
- Unlocated Address
- Insufficient Address
- Wrong Address
- Delivery Not Allowed
- Any trusted person of legal age who is available at the registered delivery address can be assigned as APR (i.e., relatives, household members, officemate, others).

Start your online application. Begin by applying for a PSA certificate online. During the process, select the option to "assign an Authorized Person to Receive" and click "Continue."

Access the APR form. There are three ways to access the APR form: through the APR link sent via email, by clicking on the “Assign Authorized Representative” button after a successful payment, and through the Customer Service portal that can be found in the PSAHelpline website. Any option will redirect you to the Customer Service portal. Look for the Authorized Person to Receive section and click the "Assign Authorize Person to Receive" button.

Valid ID. Choose a valid ID from the list for validation. In this example, the National ID is selected. Click on the “Start Liveness Check” button.
For other types of ID, you need to upload the copy of your valid ID.

Complete a live selfie. Take a live selfie and wait for the system to verify your identity.

Provide their information. Enter the personal information of your designated Authorized Person to Receive and click "Submit." Remember, this can be a relative, household member, officemate, or anyone else at the registered delivery address.

Successful Validation. Upon successful validation of your submitted valid ID and details of your assigned Authorized Person to Receive, the name of the authorized person will be reflected in the viewable record in the Customer Service portal.
